Tunes of Glory
New York April 5, 2002

This Parade was performed to raise money for the following charities and as a remembrance of the victims of Sept 11.
Unfortunately, press emphasis was on Tartan Day, not on the Charities or the victims.

But, we knew why we were there.....

These photographs were taken at New York, by Angie Dachs, Pamela Kohler-Camp and Carol Thompson .
The Atholl Highlanders (USA) sent a contingent to take part in what was hoped to be the largest pipe band ever!
Over 7,820 pipers and drummers marched. We didn't beat the Millenium Pipe record of 9,500
but we raised money for the Marie Curie Cancer Care Foundation and Gilda's Club.
